Intergovernmental Services

The Intergovernmental Services Division (IGS) is composed of professional and administrative staff working to support the vision, goals, and objectives of the City of Steamboat Springs. The IGS Division provides the following services to the City and the community:

• Liaison Services between the City and other agencies, including the State Legislature, State and Federal Agencies, and public and private sectors in the community
• Grant research, identification and procurement for City departments, intergovernmental agencies and regional coalitions
• Examples of Grant Funded Projects
• Northwest Transportation Planning Region
• Yampa Valley Economic Development Council (YVEDC)

The Routt County Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan is final and has been approved by FEMA. The plan was created through a joint effort between Routt County, City of Steamboat Springs, Town of Hayden, Town of Yampa, Town of Oak Creek, as well as the fire districts in the area.
