Building Construction Management

The Office of the Deputy City Manager and the Internal Services Division of Procurement and Contracts administers all building construction for the City of Steamboat Springs. This includes procurement and contracting of all professional and construction services for City facilities. Procurement, contracting, and administration is provided per City, State, and Federal requirements based on local and/or grant funding regulations.

The City does not have an automated vendor listing computer program. All purchases over $5,000 are advertised in the local newspaper, or the weekly City Page, and bids/proposals solicited from other sources available to Purchasing and the using departments. We welcome new vendors and suppliers of goods and services.
