Teen Programs strive to provide safe, substance-free, and affordable recreation alternatives for teens.

Create a variety of recreation alternatives to meet the diverse needs of teens

Provide programming that contributes to the physical, mental and social development of teens in our community

Earn the confidence of those we serve by including teens in program planning

General Information:

The City of Steamboat Springs Teen Programs provide recreation programming for 6th - 12th graders. Teen Programs sponsor a variety of different activities for teens in the community such as after school programs, evening events, out of town trips, and outdoor adventures. Additionally, we provide employment opportunities for 14-18 year olds.

Teen Program offices are located at 279 Howelsen Parkway in the Igloo building. The Teen Program employs two full time, year-round staff, the Teen Recreation Coordinator and the Teen Recreation Specialist.
