Community Youth Corps (CYC) strives to provide youth of the Yampa Valley an opportunity to earn while they learn, by contributing to community improvement projects.

CYC Crew Structure:
1 Adult Crew Leader and 1 Adult Assistant Crew Leader and 6-8 Corpsmembers (14-16 yrs)
Schedule*:
Week 1: Monday - Friday, 7:45am - 4:15pm, Working on City of Steamboat Springs property including trails, parks and open space.
Week 2: Monday - Friday, Working and camping at project site.
*Schedule subject to change.
Work Projects:
Trail construction and maintenance, weeding, planting, painting, fencing, reclamation, flood prevention, park cleanup and various other jobs.
Pay:
$7.52/hour, approximately $430 before taxes.
CYC Provides:
- on the job training
- uniforms and safety gear
- transportation to various worksites

- group camping equipment
- food during camping week
