Basketball

This program is designed for boys and girls in 3rd through 6th grades who want to learn more about the fundamentals of basketball in a non-competitive atmosphere. The Youth Basketball season begins in the beginning of March and runs until mid May. Practices held twice weekly with games on Saturdays.

2012 Youth Basketball registration opens January 3, 2012. REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS FEB 2, 2012.

Youth Basketball Job Openings 2012

Football

This program strives to teach the fundamentals of flag and tackle football. Practices are held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00-5:30 pm at Ski Town Fields. Program runs from late August through October (weather permitting).

Tackle Football- kids entering the 5th and 6th grades. Practice Mondays & Wednesdays from 4:00-5:30pm, Games on Fridays.

Flag Football- kids entering the 3rd & 4th grades. Practice on Mondays from 4:00-5:30pm, Games on Wednesdays.

Tee-Ball & Coach Pitch

This program is designed to teach the basic skills of baseball to kids going into Kindergarten and 1st grades (Tee-Ball) on Mondays and Wednesdays at 4p, 5pm, or 6pm as well as 2nd and 3rd grades (Coach Pitch) on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4pm, 5pm, or 6pm. Coed teams are coached by volunteers with inter-league games and no travel. Season runs from July through the end of August with practices once a week and games once a week. The only equipment you need to supply is a glove for your child, everything else will be provided.

Practices begin the week of 6/27 (weather permitting) and the first games will begin the week of 7/11. The last games are scheduled for the week of 8/18. All practices and games are held at Emerald Park, behind Freshies.

Start Smart Youth Sports Development

Start Smart is a six-week instructional program which helps parents work one-on-one with their children while teaching them the basics of sports: throwing, catching, kicking and batting. The program helps prepare children for organized youth sports by using safe and fun equipment to teach them the basic motor skills needed to compete. The program is for 3 - 5 year olds AND their parent/guardian.
