Animal Control
Animal Control consists of 2 full-time animal control officers who are responsible for enforcing the animal control ordinances; they respond to calls of sick and injured animals, dogs at large, and dog bite cases; they handle calls relating to horses, cattle, and vicious animals; they prepare daily, monthly, and annual reports of animal control activities; and they are responsible for maintaining the Animal Shelter along with 1 full time Staff Assistant and 1 part-time Maintenance Worker.
