Code Enforcement consists of 1 full-time Parking Code Enforcement Officer, 1 full-time Community Service Supervisor, and 1 full-time Community Service Officer year round. There are also at least 10 seasonal officers on an on-call basis for special events. Code Enforcement and Community Service Officers handle non-criminal calls to include but not limited to: code enforcement, traffic control, animal control, over the counter accident reports, lost and found property, public fingerprinting, parking enforcement and complaints, planning complaints, snow removal complaints, bicycle registrations, bicycle safety, and assisting police officers and EMS with traffic control at accident scenes. Community Service Officers also provide crowd and traffic control at special events year round and patrol the city’s trails and sidewalks on bicycle.

Fingerprinting
Effective May 1, 2009, our Fingerprinting Schedule changed to Tuesdays & Thursdays (except for holidays) from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. This does not include Sex Offender Registration fingerprints. These are taken 7 days a week, 24 hours.
