I am starting a business in the City of Steamboat Springs. Do I need a business license?

The City of Steamboat Springs does NOT have business licenses. The City DOES require you get a Sales Tax License for any business that makes retail sales, leases tangible personal property, and/or rents short-term accommodations for periods of less than 30 days(peddlers, transient sales and special events also require a sales tax license).
