Road Closure Notice - Hometown Heroes Welcome parade and celebration

In order to have enough time to put snow on Lincoln Avenue for the Hometown Heros Welcome parade and celebration on Friday, April 2,the Public Works Department will be closing Lincoln Ave at about 1:15 pm and re-routing traffic.

The Hometown Heroes Celebration will start with a parade on snow down Lincoln Ave from 11th to 5th starting at 6:30 pm. The parade will end at the courthouse where the Olympians will be honored. The event should be over about 8:00 pm.

The road will remain closed until all snow is removed from the street following the ceremony, probably until 11-12pm.

April 2 is also the monthly First Friday Art Walk starting at 5 pm so plan to make an evening of it by having dinner, taking in an art exhibition and celebrating with our Olympians.
