Senior Programs

Parks & Recreation offers a wide variety of exciting summer activities and trips for anyone 55 years and finer. Activity fees include transportation, admission fees, tickets, and hotel when necessary. Meals are not included in the activity fee and are the responsibility of the participant. Participation is limited, and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration opened at 8:00 AM on Monday, May 16th.

Coors FieldColorado Rockies Baseball

Enjoy a fun day at Coors Field as the Colorado Rockies take on the San Francisco Giants. First pitch is at 1:10 PM, and we'll arrive early enough to watch the teams warm up and to grab lunch.

Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre - Beehive 

Beehive celebrates the powerful female voices of the 1960s with such timeless hits as “My Boyfriend’s Back”, “Where the Boys Are”, “Be My Baby”, and “Son of a Preacher Man”. Told from the perspective of six young women who came of age in this enigmatic decade, Beehive chronicles social change through the songs of the day — with particular focus on female empowerment. Just in time for sweater weather, snuggle up with Beehive and take a stroll down memory lane!

BlackhawkBlackhawk/Central City Casinos Day Trip

Are you feeling lucky? Enjoy a day trip to the Blackhawk and Central City casinos. Start the day at the Lodge Casino, then take the free city bus to any casinos in Blackhawk or Central City. Enjoy an afternoon of gambling, eat a leisurely lunch at one of the many local restaurants, and explore the area with friends.
