June 23, 2021 - June 24, 2021 @ Howelsen Park
Cabaret will return to Steamboat Springs this June but, this time, in a new venue at Howelsen Hill. This year’s theme is “What a Long, Strange Trip It’s Been,” a lyric from the Grateful Dead song “Truckin’,” and one that director Scott Parker felt was appropriate after the past year and a half of dealing with a global pandemic. The two dozen acts of Cabaret will be performed June 23 and 24 with two shows at 6 and 8 p.m. each night.
June 23, 2021, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Howelsen Rodeo Grounds Parking Lot
Welcome to our newly launched compost program, Feed for Seed!
Our current residential offering is a drop-off every Wednesday from 4-6 PM at the Steamboat Springs Rodeo Grounds. We provide a sealed (leak and smell-proof) bucket to collect your waste. Stay tuned for expanded drop-off and pick-up options…
8.8 tons of food waste COMPOSTED since our kick-off in mid-July of 2020!
49.5 tons of food waste DIVERTED TO PIGS since IRC’s start in December 2019!
That is 107,660 lbs. of CO2 emissions avoided by not landfilling organics. This is equivalent to the emissions from driving 128,180 miles in an American car!
We’re excited to compost food waste with you.
