Yampa River Core Trail
In 2017 a group of community members created the 24-Hour ‘Boat Cruise fundraising event. The idea came from a desire to affect real change on a local level in a world that was starting to feel more divided than ever. We chose Integrated Community as the beneficiary.
The route is a 10.3 mile loop around Steamboat Springs. It is a combination of bike path, dirt roads and side streets. The loop starts downtown by Stehlay Park and makes its way up and around Mt Werner Cir. before looping back downtown.
Yampa Street - 5th to 8th
The Farmers Market is held each week and provides access to locally grown and raised food to the community. Additionally, we provide opportunities for local artists to show their work and for community groups to connect with the greater population. As an economic development organization with the responsibility of ensuring the vitality of Downtown Steamboat Springs, it is also our goal to drive traffic to downtown to increase our sales tax base. The Market is every Saturday 9-2 from June 11 to September 25.
Weekly Farmers Market on Yampa Street, 7th Street, and the 7th Street Parking Lot.
Yoga on the Green is held Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 9 – 10 am throughout the summer, weather permitting. Meet on the Green. Practicing on the Park Green is unlike any class you’ve ever taken. Surrounded by the beauty of nature, delicate gardens and serene pond, you’ll find the peace and stillness is unmatched in the Botanic Park. Please bring a mat or towel, water, sunscreen, and bug spray. Please walk, bike, or carpool to yoga whenever possible as we have limited parking. If you drive, you must park in designated Botanic Park parking spaces. Overflow parking exists on Ski Town Way.
