Notary services for residents are available from 10am to noon, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and must be done in person at City Hall, 115 10th Street. Valid identification is required (government issued photo id card or passport). All documents must be in English. 

Please note that we are unable to notarize the following documents:

  • I-9 Employee Eligibility Verification Forms
  • Election documents such as petitions, affidavits, etc.
  • Mortgage / Deeds (including Quit Claim)
  • Certify copies of birth, death, marriage or divorce certificates
  • Apostilles and Authentications (Completed by the Colorado Secretary of State's Office)
  • Power of Attorney
  • Wills

If your document requires witnesses, you will need to provide your own witnesses. All signatures are required to be notarized at one time. City Notaries will try to accommodate documents that are required to be notarized by the city.
