Gov. Jared Polis today ordered the United States and Colorado flags be lowered to half-staff statewide on all public buildings from sunrise to sunset on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, to honor former Colorado legislator Tilman Bishop. Bishop served 28 years in the Colorado legislature.
Bishop passed on Sunday, June 16, 2019 in Grand Junction. Services will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2019.
