STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, COLORADO-December 26, 2019-Steamboat Springs Transit (SST) will be providing supplementary service on New Year’s Eve. Additional buses will operate during the day and night on December 31 into the early morning hours of January 1, 2020.
‘We’re celebrating New Year’s Eve with free bus rides for everyone,” exclaimed Transit Manager Jonathan Flint. “Even though the free bus runs every day, we want folks to think of SST first and utilize the free bus to safely celebrate New Year’s Eve. So this Tuesday evening, have fun but leave the driving to us!”
SST will operate unscheduled buses during the day to help with the anticipated heavy passenger loads. Additional buses will also operate during the evening hours to help move people to evening festivities. Beginning at midnight, a SST bus will depart from downtown, toward the mountain every 10 minutes.
