STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, COLORADO-January 8, 2026-Savor a new pot of Coffee with Council starting Friday, January 16, when City Council reinfuses this popular interaction and community conversation event for 2026.
Join available City Councilors for Coffee with Council scheduled from 8am to 9am in the Paachihpi Community Room in City Hall (115 10th Street).
During Coffee with Council, councilors are looking to gauge the community’s tastes buds for a caffeinated discussion (no presentations) on whatever is top of mind for residents.
Started over a decade ago, the goal of the program is to provide an opportunity for community members to meet with councilors in a relaxed atmosphere and discuss current issues and topics.
The success of this program is the open discussion and while not everyone always agrees, the group is able to discuss important issues together and in a respectable way.
Council will host Coffee with Council sessions the third Friday of the month through May before again transitioning to its summer engagement efforts at Mainstreet Steamboat’s Farmers Market starting in early June.
