Steamboat Springs, Colorado-February 23, 2026-The City of Steamboat Springs invites residents, business owners, and community partners to attend the 2026 State of the City on Thursday, March 5, from 5–6 pm at Citizens Hall (124 10th Street). A reception will follow immediately after the presentation.
“The State of the City is a great opportunity to share where we’ve been and where we’re headed,” said City Manager Tom Leeson. “From infrastructure and housing to public safety and community services, we’re continuing to make progress on the priorities that matter most to Steamboat Springs. We look forward to connecting with residents and discussing what’s next for our community.”
The State of the City is an opportunity to hear directly from city leadership about key accomplishments from the past year, current projects underway, and priorities shaping the city’s future.
The event will feature remarks from Council President Steve Muntean and City Manager Tom Leeson, who will provide updates on accomplishments and major initiatives, progress toward City Council goals, and what’s ahead for Steamboat Springs.
During the presentation, city leadership will provide an overview of key accomplishments from 2025 and share updates on major projects currently underway. The discussion will also focus on City Council’s priorities, including continued progress on diverse housing solutions, transportation and mobility, fiscal sustainability and financial stewardship, environmental sustainability, community engagement and public outreach, as well as strengthening partnerships that support Steamboat Springs’ long-term success.
“This is a chance for the community to come together, reflect on the work being done, and stay informed about the direction of the city,” said Muntean. “We encourage everyone to attend and be part of the conversation.”
The State of the City is free and open to the public.
