The Parks & Recreation Commission serves as an advisory board to City Council to promote an enhanced quality of life by offering a broad range of safe and accessible resources including parks, open space, trails, recreational services and facilities which invite all to Explore, Play, Learn and Preserve.
Vision
The Parks & Recreation Commission is committed to identify , advocate and provide high quality and sustainable recreational, open space & cultural amenities for all citizens and visitors while balancing the need to maintain and preserve the resources entrusted to us.
Normally the Parks & Recreation Commission meets the second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 5pm. Currently the Parks & Recreation Commission is meeting inside Centennial Hall, 124 10th Street, and via ZOOM - the meeting ID is located on the top of the agenda.
